The Minden Signal

A Prominent Citizen Dead.

Capt. J. J. Crow, one of the leading citizens of his section of the parish, died at his home 
at Cotton Valley last Tuesday and the remains were brought to Minden and interred in
the cemetery here.  The deceased had been in failing health for some time and his death
was not unexpected.  He was a good citizen, friend and neighbor and leaves a large circle 
of relatives and friends to mourn his death, to whom the Signal extends its sincere condolence.
