A. Dick of Cotton Valley Dies. Mrs. Katie Ruth Hallmark Dick died at her home in Cotton Valley Sunday afternoon, January 12, at 1:40 after a lingering illness of fourteen months. She was 43 years, three months and 29 days of age. She was a member of the Baptist church. The deceased is survived by her husband, A. A. Dick, three sons, Rodney, Kellar, and Gayle Dick, all of Cotton Valley; her mother Mrs. R. L. Hallmark, who made her home with the deceased; two sisters, Mrs. Cecile Horn and Mrs. A. G. Strickland, of Winnfield, and one brother, Robert Hallmark, of Atlanta: three nieces and two nephews. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Joyner, pastor of the Cotton Valley Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. Singleton of Ringgold, former pastor. Interment was in the Coyle Cemetery.
