Mr. William C. Hawk, 73, died Sunday, March 3, in the Minden Medical Center. 
Born in Cassville, Missouri, Hawk worked in Minden for the State Highway 
Department for a number of years. He was a member of the Calvary Missionary 
Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be today at 4:30 in Rose-Neath Chapel. Interment will be 
in the Minden Cemtery with the Rev. Irwin Rhosto officiating and Rev. C.K. 
Brooks assisting.

He is survived by his wife, Nina Chapin Hawk; three daughters, Mrs. C. D. 
Cockrell, Minden; Mrs. Pat Cardwell, Ruston; and Mrs. Harvey Plunkett, Minden; 
one son, Jack H. Hawk, Shreveport, eight grandchildren; 1 great-grandson, and 
a number of nieces and nephews. 

Pallbearers will be Sam Howell, Drew Pace, Levell Woods, Melton Kemp, Wayne 
Watson, and Steve Fomby.
