Graveside services for Mrs. Nina Mae Hawk, 90, of Minden, will be held at 10 
a.m. Friday, April 28, 1995, in the Minden Cemetery.  Officiating will be Rev. 
Oliver Thomas, assisted by Rev. Don McCormick.

Mrs. Hawk died Wednesday, April 26, 1995, at 12:45 p.m. at IHS (formerly 
Meadowview Nursing Home) of Minden, after a lengthy illness. She was a native 
of Brokenbow, Neb., and had lived in the Minden area for the past 42 years. 
She was a housewife and a member of First Southern Methodist Church of Minden.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W. C. Hawk; one son, Jack Hawk; and 
one daughter, Violet Cardwell.

Survivors include two daughters, Beatrice Cockrell and husband, C. D. of 
Minden and Mrs. Frieda Plunkett, also of Minden; one sister, Lillian Todd and 
a half-sister, Florence Shipley, both of Grand Junction, Col.; eight 
grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
