Services for Mrs. Myrtis Matlock Kilgore, 91, will be held at 3 p.m. ,Saturday, Nov. 25, 1995 at Walker's Chapel Methodist Church in Mott Community. Rev. Garth Collier officiating. Burial will be in the Plain Dealing Cemetery . Services under the direction of Bailey Mortuary,Springhill. Mrs. Kilgore, a native and life-long resident of Bossier Parish, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 1995 in Springhill, La. where she had made her home for the last 16 years. She was a home maker and preceded in death by her husband, Raiford B. Kilgore in 1982; a daughter, Helen Kilgore Frye in 1994, and a Grandson, Billy Decker in 1992. She is survived by 2 daughters, Bernice Decker and her husband Bill of Dallas, Texas; Beth Miller of Baytown, Texas; a son, Robert Lee Wells of Houston, Texas: Grandchildren: David Randolph Frye, Jami Miller Blakey, James Andrew Miller, Lisa Lynn Decker, & Michael Hale Decker: Great Grandchildren: David Matthew Frye, Carla Elizabeth Blakey, Christopher Carlton Blakey, Leanne Wells, Robert Russell Wells, and David Lonnell Wells and one great great granddaughter, Ashley Marie Wolfe. Pallbearers will be: Allen Lamar Matlock, Don E. Matlock, James Edgar Frazier Jr., Jerry Allen Kilgore, Kenneth Matlock, and Homer Gerald Matlock.
