Officiating were Rev. L. G. Wilson and Rev. Oliver Thomas. Burial followed at Pine Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Langley died Friday, July 9, at a Bossier City hospital, following a short illness. She was born in Minden and was a lifelong resident. She was a housewife and a Methodist. Mrs. Langley was preceded in death by her husband, Barney J. Langley. Survivors include seven sons, Robert Langley of Orchard Hill, Ga., Al Langley of Bossier City; Tom, Bill and Walter Langley, all of Minden, Joe Langley of Mayflower, Ark., and David Langley of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Edwards of Minden and Mrs. Jewel Bible of Bossier City; one brother, John Peavy of Minden and a special niece and nephew, Mary Sue and N. B. Malone of Kilgore, Texas; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons.
