Graveside services for Mr. Webster Daniel "Webb" Martin, 88, will be held 
today, Feb. 26, 2001, at 3 p.m. at Whitehall Cemetery near Shongaloo with Mark 
Eakin officiating, Chaplain of the HMC Hospice under the direction of Rose-
Neath Funeral Home in Minden.

Mr. Martin, a native of Springhill and a longtime resident of Minden, passed 
away Sunday, Feb. 25, at Town and Country Health and Rehab Center in Minden 
after a long illness. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was a 
retired oilfield worker and truck driver.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Webster and Mary Ann Plunkett 
Martin. He is survived by sisters, Edna Martin Merritt of Minden and Christine 
Martin Bossier of Baton Rouge; a brother, L. P. Martin, of Tomball, Texas and 
a host of nieces and nephews.
