Webster Parish: Della Collins McIlwain 
(November 4, 1914 - July 25, 2004)
Winnfield, LA

Mrs. Della Jewel (Collins) McIlwain, age 89, of Winnfield, La., passed away Sunday, July 25, 2004, 
at the Winn Parish Medical Center in Winnfield, La. Mrs. McIlwain was retired from the Webster 
Parish School Board and was a member of Sardis Baptist Church.  She was the daughter of the late
William Collins and the late Pinola (Barton) Collins. 

She is survived by One Brother, John Dewitt Collins of Atlanta, La. Her Niece Rhonda Collins Foster 
and husband Gary of Atlanta, La., and their children Jennifer Foster Tarver and her husband Jason of Atlanta, La.;
Rebecca Lynn Foster of Alexandria, Va.; and Ryan Luke Foster, of Atlanta, La. Her Nephew, John Dewayne 
Collins and wife Rebecca of Atlanta, La. and their children Emily Elizabeth Collins, John Zachary Collins, and
Haley Anna Collins, all of Atlanta, La. A Host of Other Nieces, Nephews, and Family Members. 

Services are under the direction of Southern Funeral Homes, Inc., 202 E. Lafayette St., Winnfield, La., where 
the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Monday, July 26,
2004. Friends may also visit at Sardis 
Baptist Church from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 27, 2004. Funeral services will be at Sardis Baptist 
Church at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 27, 2004with Rev. Danny Keyes and Dr. Ray Teal officiating.
Interment will be at Sardis Cemetery in Atlanta, La.
