Springhill - Oscar Samuel Pace, 81, of Cullen, died Sunday afternoon in a 
local hospital following a lengthy illness.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Bailey Mortuary Chapel with the 
Rev. Jerry Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Sallie Gamel Pace; two sons, Sherman Pace of 
Springhill and Drew Pace of El Dorado, Ark.; one daughter, Janice Taylor of 
Cullen; two sisters, Ruby Foshee of Shreveport and Mattie Hartman of Houston, 
Texas, and seven grandchildren.
