"Red" Plunkett, Jr., 68, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2006 at Rose-Neath Minden Chapel with Rev. David Griffin officiating. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 1 p.m. Friday. Mr. Plunkett, a welder, born in Bienville Parish, LA, died August 30, 2006 in Heflin, LA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Plunkett. He is survived by two sons, Scotty Plunkett and wife Debra of Bossier City and Johnny Plunkett of Heflin; two daughters, Tina White of Calhoun, LA, and Virginia Thomas of Dubberly; two brothers, David Walker of Dubberly and Howard Walker of Dubberly; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be Lane Woods, Wallace Walker, James Phillips, Bill Washington, Bo Harrell and Shayne Rowell. Rose Neath Funeral Home.
