She was 92. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 27 in the Rose- Neath Funeral Home Minden Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Laughlin officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove United Methodist Cemetery. Mrs. Sexton was born in Harris Community and had lived in Minden most of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Minden and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was preceded in death many years ago by her husband, Robert M. Sexton. Survivors include two sons, Robert M. Sexton, Jr. of Dripping Springs, Texas, and Wayne H. Sexton of Minden; four daughters, Dorothy L. Crossan of Farmington, New Mexico, Elizabeth S. Rowell of Ringgold, Adonna S. Carter of North Little Rock, Arkansas, and Mamie C. Rose of Salem, Oregon; two sisters, Floy I. Beasley of Minden and Hazel B. Feming of Pineville, La.; 25 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Marcus Carter, D. William Pendleton, Jr., David A. Sexton, Michael W. Sexton, Richard D. Sexton and Paul M. Sexton. Alternate pallbearer will be Mrs. Sexton's son-in-law, Lorris G. Carter.
