Minden Press-Herald, Tuesday, Sep 9, 1986
Bobby Young, 50, of Minden passed away on Saturday, Sept. 6 at his residence.  
Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, in the Beech Springs Baptist 
Church with Rev. Donald Lemmons officiating. Burial followed in the Fuller 
Cemetery with full military rites under the direction of Rose Neath Funeral 
Home.  Mr. Young was a native of Minden and had resided in Minden for 17 
years. He was retired from the U.S. Army, and was presently employed by the 
City of Minden with the Light and Water Department. He was a member of the 
Beech Springs Baptist church.  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Betty Jean 
Rowell Young of Minden; his mother, Mrs. Ollie Young of Minden, three sons, 
Seth Young of Berlin, Germany, Wincel Young and Heath Young both of Minden; 
three brothers, Theo Young of Shreveport, Dalton Young and Clifton Young both 
of Kentucky; two grandchildren; 20 nieces and nephews and 21 great-neices and 
nephews. Pallbearers will be the military from Ft. Polk.

Note: A daughter, Torchie Ann Young was omitted from his obituary.  Bobby was 
the son of William Rance YOUNG & Ollie Luella CHANCE.
