LA State of Louisiana, Parish of Webster William Miller personally came and appeared before me John M Davies a duly qualified and acting Notary Public in and for Webster Par., Louisiana who declared unto me the said Notary in the presance of J. D. McIntyre, J.E. Crichton, W. D. English, John H Taylor and L.K. Watkins five male witnesses of full age and residents of Webster Parish Louisiana, That he was a resident of Webster Parish / Louisiana himself and had his property and effects in the said Parish and not being able to write and sign his name and not knowing how to write and sign his name and being desirous of making his last will and testament and a depostition of his property to take place after his death that he had called upon the Notary and said witnesses to have his will written and in presence of said witnesses dictated to me J. M. Davies said Notary his will which is written as dictated and at his dictation taken down in writing in the presence of the said witnesses and testator as follows; He declared and said that he willed and bequeathed unto his beloved wife, Mary Ann Miller in case she should survive him the usufruct and use of all of his property during her life. The title of said property to sister Barbra Deck who is to take a full one third at the death of his said wife her posession not to be disturbed in anyway during her lifetime she having the full use and enjoyment during her natural life under the same conditions and stipulations he bequeaths one third to the children of his brother John Miller, deceased save and except his daughter Barbra, the wife of John Palmer whom he expressly declares he disinherits and disowns that she shall have nothing of his estate. Under the above conditions he bequeaths to the children of his brother Adam Miller, deceased an one third of his property subject as already stated to the disposition made in favor of his wife. The children of the said Adam Miller being entitled to receive said property except Frederick E Miller who is hereby especially disinherited and he declared also that he expressly disinherits the children of his deceased brother Jacob Miller and their heirs who with the said Frederick E Miller and Barbra Palmer he declared he disowned and refused for just and legal cause to give and bequeath anything either to them or their children.
