The Floyd Methodist church is located in the town of Floyd as shown by the 
following description taken from the transcribed records of the Old Carroll 
Parish being in transcription Book B on page 109.
    A plot of ground described as follows; known and designated as square N 
nine, containing two and a half acres of ground  more or less, bounded on the 
North by Mulberry Street, on the East by Third Street, on the South by Floyd 
Street, and on the West by Oliver Street, as shown by the map of Floyd.
    The Pastor of the above described Church is the Rev. J.C. Price, Pioneer, 
Louisiana.
