This piece of land is located about one mile North of Darnell on HWY 16 and lying in Section 28 T.20 N. Range 10 East in the Parish of West Carroll, State of Louisiana and being the plot of ground deeded to the School Board by Jno. R. McIntosh for school purposes, and being and lying West of the Eudora Gilbert. R.R. as per deed dated April 12, 1929 and recorded in Notarial Book T page 385 of the records of this Parish. As stated above this is not a church plot in which weekly m eetings are held but a camp ground upon which the Negro Baptist Churches meet once or twice a year for a general meeting and having the pastors of all churches deliver the sermons, consequently there is no Paster for the above described organization. This information was afforded by a Negro Baptist Church Member.
