In West Carroll Parish Louisiana Records Book Old "A" page 566

York District, South Carolina suit in Carroll Par. La. Plaintiffs:
Carroll HENRY, and Samuel G. HENRY against Margaret FLOYD, concerning
estate and administration of Margaret FLOYD's husband G.M. FLOYD, says
Milton M. FD has also died, concerning 142 « acre, so then Margaret
FLOYD appointed John D. MONTGOMERY as her attorney, Dec. 29, 1856.
Witness: H.G. JACKSON. Magistrate was John B. JACKSON.

Mrs Margaret M. FLOYD of South Carolina sold the same property above to
John W. HAYS, Sept. 21, 1858.  142 « acres for $1141.36 ( can't read
the numbers good may be $996.36)
