Hedrick, Clerk & Exofficio Notary Public in and for said Parish & State duly commissioned and Sworn an in presence of the witnesses herinafter named and undersigned. Personally came an appeared Wade H. Jackson and Eustice Warner, both residents of the Parish of West Carroll and State of Louisiana who declared unto me Clerk & Exofficio Notary Public that they having purchased from the heirs of W.B. & N.H. Hardison deceased, all and singular the North East quarter of Section No. Twenty, Townshp No Nineteen North Range Ten, East, containing one hundred and sixty acres, owning an undivided half interest therein each and being desirious to divide said tract of land equally between themseleves, declared each for himself as follows: Wade H. Jackson declared that he does by these presents, bargains, sell, transfer set over and deliver all his right title and interest in an to the South half of the above described quarter section of land with all the improvements, thereon or thereto belonging to Eustice Warner for his own proper use benefit and behalf & that of his heirs assigns forever-And Eustice declared that he does by these presents bargain, sell, transfer set over and deliver all is rights title and interest over and delivers all his right title and interst in and to the North half of the first above described quarter section of land, with all improvements thereon and therto belonging. Unto Wade H. Jackson for his own proper use benefit and behoof and that of his his heirs and assigns forever. The mortage certificate required by the civil cod of this state is dispensed with by the parties to the act and me Clerk & exofficio Notary Public held harmless for its non production. The parties both declared that the taxes have been paid on the within described property up to January first 1888. Thus done passed and signed in the town of Floyd Parish of West Carroll, La in presence of William J. Rentz and Wm J Gray lawful and competent witness who herunto sign their names together with the parties and me Clerk & Exofficio Notary Publci on this the 13th day of March, A.D. 1888.
