West Carroll Gazette-Oak Grove, La. June 20, 1939

  Funeral Services for Mrs. Martha Donahue, 73 who died Friday at the home of 
her son J.w. Donahue, near Darnell were conducted Sunday at 10 a.m. with the 
Rev. Basil Halbert who was conducting Baptist revival here officiating 
interment was in the Mann Cemetery, Forest.  She leaves besides the son at 
whose home she died, two daughters, Mr. D.R. Wood, Forest, Mrs. W.C. McAdams, 
Lake Providence and two brothers Andrew Bedgood, Goldonna, adnd John Bedgood, 
Winnfield.
  The deceased had been in failing health for several years.
