West Carroll Gazette September 3, 1913
  A teacher meeting will be held at Pioneer on Saturday Sept. 13.

  Don't forget the ice cream supper at Pioneer next Friday night 
  
  Oscar Womack has accepted a position in the store of Mr. Leach.

  Miss Vickey Thomas returned last Sunday from a visit to McGehee, Ark. 
  
  Mrs. W.B. Redmond and three children, of Delhi, are visiting relatives in 
Floyd.

  Mrs. W.P. Fowler returned on Tuesday from a visit to relatives in Ouachita 
Parish.

  Born, to Mr. and Mrs. T.L. Gaddis at Pioneer, on Wednesday morning, a 
daughter.

  LOST - On Wednesday the 27, a bunch of keys.  Finder will please return to 
L. Lipp.

  Mr. and Mrs. Bardin, of Forest, spent Tuesday in town with their daughter, 
Mrs. Orrin Richmond.

  Mrs. Sam Crow returned on Sunday from a visit to her sisters in Crossett, 
Ark. and Tex.
  
  Mr. and Mrs. John Stephenson of Killbourne spent Sunday night at Pioneer 
with Mr. and Mrs. A. Nordgren.  

  Mrs. J.F. Smith, of Roval Winn Parish, arrived on Sunday on a two week's 
visit to her son, Dr. C.W. Smaith and family.

  The third quarterly of the M.E. Church South, will be held at Pioneer on 
Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 6-7.
