West Carroll Gazette-Oak Grove, La. April 20, 1915
  Died at her daughter, Mrs. C.A. Fox, in Pioneer on Friday morning last at 
1:25 o'clock.  Mrs. L.F. Bales aged 66 years.
  Cancer, from which she had suffered for nearly two years, caused her death.  
She was buried in the Mann Cemetery at Forest, Saturday evening at 4:00 
o'clock.
  To the bereaved daughter and other relatives, we tender our hearfelt 
sympathy.
