November 14, 1934 Final rites for Mrs. Lillie Milling Mitchiner, 69, widow of George E. Mitchiner, a prominent West Carroll planter and merchant, were held Tuesday morning at her home at Mitchiner, located on the boundary line of West Carroll and Richland parishes, followin death late Sunday afternoon. Burial was in Midway Cemetery. The Rev. C.A. Newton officated. A large gathering of friends and relatives from all parts of West Carroll, and from other points, wew at the services. Residents of the parish for more than 40 years, Mrs. Mitchiner and her deceased husband were widely known and progressive citizens. The husband died last April, and a son, Bill Mitchiner, 35, who died more than two years ago, and a daughter, who passed away in infancy, preceeded her to the grave. A grandson survives. Friends throughout the Parish extend sincere sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
