February 9, 1939 Mrs. R.M. Grasby, 34 prominent club and church worker here, died today at 2:30 p.m., from a tumor of the brain, in a Lake Village, Ark. sanitarium where she had been carried in a critical condition Monday at 5 a.m. Brief funeral services will be conducted from the Oak Grove Methodist Church tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. with the Rev. E.B. Emmerich,pastor officiating. Interment will follow at 4 p.m. in a cemetery at McGheee, Ark. the former home of the deceased. The deceased, who moved to Oak Grove in 1928, was the first president of the auxiliary unit of the Catron-Kelly post of the American Legion, and was a tireless worker in club, church and social activities.
