Left a widow , she married A.S. Van Rensselear of New York. Wife and mother, she died 20 Aug on Bayou Macon, Carroll Parish, La. Issue No. 33 20 Sept 1851 Mrs. Sallie Guier, died Saturday, 9 August, aged 43 years, Bayou Macon Hill, La. She was born in S.C., dau of Joiel and Susan Wilson, moved to Kentucky when young and married Philip Guier, Esq., in 1829. Rept’d by Charles J. Halberg, Monticello, Carroll Parish, La. 12 Aug 1851. Issue No. 51, 21 Jan 1854 Among victims of the epidemic at Lake Providence, La. Was Dr. Napoleon E. Larche, of an ancient Creole family, He was born in Ouachita Parish on 26 May 1804 and moved to Carroll Parish in 1832. A large planter, died at his residence in this town on 6 Nov 1853, not quite 56 yrs. Of age. Joined M.E. Church in 1834, leaves a family. M. Survived by her children. W.G.M. No.46, 14 November 1860 Mrs. Eliza DeFrance, consort of P.W. DeFrance, Esq., died in Carroll Parish, La., 27 Sep 1860, in her 29th year. She was a native of Hinds Co., Miss.,but, came to this parish with her parents in 1847. Survived by her husband, children, and aged parents. C.A.D
