West Carroll Gazette November 30, 1939
  Funeral services for Fred D.Galanty, 62, prominent Lake Providence citizen 
and leading merchant, were held Monday in Cincinnati, Ohio.
  Mr. Galanty, who was well known to a large number of West Carroll citizens 
and enjoyed a wide circle of friends here, did Friday night at a Vicksburg, 
Miss. sanitatium.
