West Carroll Gazettte-Oak Grove, La. July 13, 1939
  Funeral services for Mattie Lee Walker, 12 years old daughter of Mr. and 
Mrs. Paul Waller of the Green community who died from typhoid fever, Monday at 
5 p.m. were conducted from the family residence the following day at 3 p m 
with Rev. John R Campell pastor of the Oak Grove Baptist Church officiating .
  Interment followed in the Tabernace near the community.
  Other survivors besides the parents are five brothers and sisters.
