                MRS. LESSIE AVERY DIES IN MENDENHALL

Mrs. Lessie Avery, of Mendenhall, Ms., widow of T.M. Avery, and a 
former resident of Oak Grove, from 1932 to 1942, died unexpectedly
Sunday morning. Although she had been in failing health, her death 
was unexpected.

She is survived by five children, a daughter Mrs. Ralph E. Boyte of 
Jackson, Ms., Four sons, J.W. Holloway of Monroe, Lloyd Holloway of 
Sterlington, A.J. Holloway of Jackson, Ms. and M Sgt Thomas P. O'Neal of Duluth, Minn and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday at 3 P.M. at the Baptist 
Church at D'Lo, Ms. with interment in Womack Cemetery near Mendenhall.
