West Carroll Gazette- Oak Grove, La.
  Died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.A. Fox, in Pioneer on Friday 
morning last at 1:25 o'clock, Mrs. L.J. Bales, aged 66 years.
  Cancer, from which she had suffered for nearly two years, caused her death.  
She was buried in Mann Cemetery at Forest Saturday evening at 4:30 o'clock.
  To the bereaved daughter and other relatives, we tender our heartfelt 
sympathy.
