Bonner Succumbs At Home Hold Rites Friday Last rites were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Goodwill Church of God for Wilbur Calvin Bonner, 68, of Goodwill, who died at his home November 21 after an illness of about one year. The Rev M.W. Kennedy, pastor of the church, and the Rev. V.E. Fridley, of Bastrop, officiated at the rites. Interment was in the Ravan cemetery under the direction of Blackwell and Golden Funeral Home of Bastrop. A farmer, Mr. Bonner was a native and lifelong resident of West Carroll Parish. He was a member of Goodwill Church of God. Among his survivors are his wife Mrs. Lucy Bonner; six sons, Floys Bonner, Sr. and Owen T. Bonner of Oak Grove, W.C. Bonner, Jr. of Greenville, Miss; James W. Bonner of Bastrop, Joseph A. Bonner of Greggton, TX, Huey P. Bonner of Greenville, Miss; three daughters Mrs Lovella Sasser and Miss Elvie Bonner of Oak Grove, Mrs. Artie Lee Coulter of Banning, Calif. two sisters Mrs. Arrie Franks of Oak Grove and Mrs. Sallie Franks of De Witt, Ark; a half-sister, Mrs. Lettie West of Wynne, Ark; and a half-brother, W.L. Smith of Bastrop; 32 grandchildren and 3-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Robert Watson, Fred Yates, Shirley Gilley, Stewart Green, Victor Wright, and Keith Fowler.
