SAMMY O. BROWN

Oak Grove(special)  Funeral for Sammy Odell Brown,18, son of Mr. and
Mrs. W.R. Brown of Pioneer, who died at his residence Tuesday after
a long illnes, will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Midway Church of God
near Darnell.

The Rev. Carl Owens will officiate and burial will be at Epps Cemetery 
by Gay's Funeral Home of Oak Grove.

The youth was a student at Pioneer High School where he belonged to 
the 4-H Club.  He was also a member of the Midway Church of God.

Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Edith Perkins of Dallas,
Tex. and Mrs. Jo Ann Harris of Longview, Tex.; and a brother, John
Brown of Longview.

Pallbearers will be cousins, Carrol Smith, Jerry Smith, Arthur Smith,
Henry Smith, Joe Hooper and Larry Holley.
