               JEFF LINDSEY BURGESS SR.

Jeff Lindsey Burgess Sr., 76, of Epps, died Wednesday night of last 
week as a result of a holiday accident near Dunn. Services were held
at 10 0'clock Friday morning from the Herringville Baptist Church, 
with the Rev. Paul Starnes officiating. Interment was in the Epps 
Cemetery under direction of Catron-Gay Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Kate Burgess; four sons, Louis,
Roy, J.L. Jr., and Clayton, all of Epps; three daughters, Mrs. Hattie
Womack, Forest; Mrs. Edna Cantwell, Lake Providence and Mrs. Velma 
Raley, Houston, Texas.
