                       CECIL VARDIMAN COOPER


Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the 
Kilbourne Baptist Church for Cecil Vardiman Cooper, 40, who died 
Sunday at his home. 

The Rev. H.K. Stringer officiated and inteerment was in the Kilbourne
cemetery under direction of Catron-Gay Funeral Home. Military services
werre conducted at the graveside by members of Catron-Kelly post No 53, 
American Legion, for the World War Two veteran/

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.H. Cooper, Oak Grove; five
brothers, Ellis, Houston, Miss., Hamey, Drabrilla, Texas, Elton, Lufkin,
Texas; Harris and Lee of Greenville, Miss. and two sisters, Mrs. Ethel
Sowell, Oak Grove, and Mrs. Dot Owens, Friarspoint, Miss.
