W.D. ERSKINE DIES IN HOSPITAL IN SHREVEPORT

Funeral services for William Daniel Erskine, 69, who died yesterday 
in a Shreveport hospital, were conducted today at 2:30 p.m. from
the Oak Grove Church of God, with the Rev. D.M. Green, pastor of the
Green Church of God, officiating.  He was assisted by the Rev. D.G.
Trimble, pastor of the church, and the Rev. E.B. Emmerich, pastor of 
the Oak Grove Methodist Church.

Interment followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

The deceased who had  made his home in the Janesville community,
is survived by six children and others. He had been in failing health
for a long period of time, and had been carried to the hospital
Monday where death occurred.
