RITES FOR WARD 2 LADY, MRS. FOSTER, HELD FRIDAY P.M.
(By the Gazettes correspondent in unity community)

Funeral services for Mrs. Mollie Foster, prominent citizen of West
Carroll parish, were held Friday afternoon at Bayou Macon Church. 
Burial was made in the cenetery there.

Mrs. Foster was 67 years old, had been a resident of Unity community
for the past 16 years. She was well known throughout this part of the
state, where she came from Arkansas. She had been married almost 40 
years when she died in a Shreveport hospital.

She is survived by her husband, W.R. Foster, two children, Dewey
Foster and Mrs. Winnie Crowder; six grandchildren, Pat Coates, 
Mrs. Marie Smith and Ollie Dee, PrestonLee and Austin Foster; three
sisters and one brother, Mrs. Martha Smyth, Mrs. Rena Anderson,
Mrs. Artie Gammell and Ben McKnight.
