COX FUNERAL HOME - May 05, 2009
ONETA G. GREEN

Funeral service for Oneta G. Green, age 91, of Pioneer, LA will be 11 A.M. 
Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Grove, LA with 
Brother David Shiers, Brother J. C. Oser and Rev. Allan Eppinette officiating. 

Burial will follow in the New Forest Cemetery under the direction of Cox 
Funeral Home of Oak Grove, LA. 

Mrs. Green was born on July 21, 1917 in Jonesboro, AR and died May 4, 2009 in 
Monroe LA. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Chester Green; her parents, Joe and 
Nettie Gross; two brothers, Virgil Gross and David Gross; sister, Beulah 
Chandler and daughter-in-law, Brenda Green. 

Survivors include her daughter, Chestine Alexander and her husband, Don of 
Sterlington, LA; son, Wayne Green and his wife June, of Bastrop, LA; daughter, 
Joanie Martin and her husband, Danny of Pioneer, LA; brother, William Gross of 
Bastrop, LA; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great 
granddaughter. 

Pallbearers will be Lance Denton, Jeremy Denton, Caleb Denton, Cody Caston, 
Paul Piro and Ricky Gross. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Green, Joe Shumate, Harold Tucker and Scott 
Nelson.
