DENTON HATTEN

Denton Hatten was born Jan. 26, 1892, in Winn Parish. He married
Bertha Barnes in 1914. He was a member of the Forest Baptist Church 
at the time of his death, December 28 at 7 a.m. He is survived by
his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Hatten, his wife, four
children, Audis, Lula, Eula, Zula; one brother, Mark Hatten; four
sisters, Mrs. L.H. Slaughter, Gilbert; Mrs. G.G. Fowler, Mrs. E.H.
Lester, Miss Lema Hatten, all of Oak Grove. One cousin C.T. Jones,
Lake Providence, was present at the funeral. Interment was at 
Forest Cemetery on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 29, at 2 o'clock. Services
were conducted for family and friends in the Forest Baptist Church,
the pastor, Basil Halbert, having charge.
