                        MRS. NANCY KEA

In Memoriam-West Carroll Watchman

Died On Sunday at half past 4 o'clock P.M. Nov. 18t, 1883 Mrs Nancy Kea
in the 72nd year of her age.  Mrs Kea was born in Virginia, Oct. 7th 
1812 and moved to this country in 1842.  She lived on the place one 
mile below Floyd 40 years and was the oldest resident of the parish 
with one exception.  She leaves no relatives in this country, but many 
friends who watched over her bed of suffering with tender solitude for 
months before her death gave her blessed relief.  She died in hope of 
life eternal, and with her last breath whispered, "I trust the Lord."
