January 3, 1930
    Mrs. Tabitha Lee Lester, 83, a resident of West Carroll Parish since 1894 
died at the home of her niece, Mrs. Tom Brooks in Monroe, Sunday where she has 
been living for the past twelve months. 
    Mrs. Lester moved to West Carroll from East Feliciana Parish in south 
Louisiana, where she was born.  She was married to Mr. J.A. Lester of Oak 
Grove in March, 1895, with whom she lived until his death a nnumber of years 
ago. After which time she has been living in the  homes of her neices.  Mrs. 
Ro.L. Corley of Oak Grove, and Mrs Tom Brooks of Monroe.  She was a member of 
the Metodist Church.
