Complications that set in following an operation for appendicitis was the cause of his death. Mr. Lipp is survived by his wife Anna Mabel Long Lipp and five children, who are as follows, Harvey and Kenneth of Oak Grove, Marvin, a student at Louisiana State University, Mrs. Fred Foss of Twin Falls, Idaho and Mrs. Guthrie Jarrell, of Oak Grove,La. Mr. Lipp had been editor of the West Carroll Gazette for twenty years and he was well known and highly regarded throughout North Louisiana. His sudden death was the cause of much regret here and elsewhere in this section.
