JOHN WARE MANGUM

John Ware Mangum was born Febuary 14, 1901, at Mendenhall, Miss. He
joined the Baptist church at an early age and was a member of the
Forest Baptist church at the time of his death. John Ware had been
a resident of Forest since 1919. He is survived by his mother, Mrs.
A.H. Mangum, one son, Calvin,age 9 years, and his mother;four
brothers, Jimmie, of Delhi, Willie, Albert, and Kiley of Forest;
two sisters, Mrs. Lola Osborne, Forest and Mrs. Callie Pennington,
Shreveport. Pallbearers were Carl Everett, Clifton Doyle, Ray O'Steen
Buddy Bass, Melvin Crowe, Dick Waller.  Interment was at the 
Forest Cemetery Saturaday 12 o'clock noon. Rev. Basil Halbert, pastor
Forest Baptist Church officiated.
