             Karie McClendon Interred Tuesday

Mrs. Kaarie Rankin McClendon, 89, of Kilbourne, died Sunday night
in the St. Francis Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Kilbourne Baptist
church with the Rev. Willie Mobley officiating. Burial was in 
Kilbourne cemetery under direction of First National Funeral Home
of Oak Grove.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. J.T. Craaft of Terry, Mrs.
Gladys Haley of Kilbourne, Mrs. Climmie Dolar and Mrs. J.F. Helms
both of Jackson, Miss.; one son, Otha McClendon of Kilbourne; 22
grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren. 

Pallbearers were grandsons, E.C. Haley, B.C. Haley, Sonny Haley,
Frank Haley,Marvin Haley, Donald Haley and Jimmy McClendon.
