The West Carroll Gazette
   Funeral services for George Thomas Philley, 64, who died at his home near 
Oak Grove last Thursday about 6 p.m. were conducted Friday at 3 p.m. from the 
family residence with the Rev. Jno. R. Campell, pastor of he Oak Grove Baptist 
Church; and the Rev. W.D. Drummond Interment followed in the Oak Grove 
Cemetery. 
   Pallbearers  were Bob Duck, Joe Hollingsworth, Will Boutwell, Bob Butler, 
the Rev. W.D. Drummond and Albert Hollingsworth.  
   The decased, a native of Mississippi, had been a resident of West Carroll 
parish for a number of years.
