COX FUNERAL HOME - May 05, 2009
MR. CHARLES RAY PRUDHOMME, 82

OAK GROVE - Funeral services for Charles Ray Prudhomme, age 82, of Oak Grove, 
Louisiana will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at Goodwill Church of 
God in Goodwill, Louisiana.

Reverends Jason Strong and Paul Ninemire will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Grove, Louisiana.

Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.

Mr. Prudhomme did Saturday, May 2, 2009 at St. Francis Medical Center in 
Monroe, Louisiana.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Joyce Blackwell and his parents, 
Whitaker Prudhomme and Teacie Green Prudhomme.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Mae Prudhomme of Oak Grove; son and 
daughter-in-law, Richard and Cathy Prudhomme of George West, Texas; step-son 
and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Sheila Grimes of Houston, Texas; step-son and 
daughter-in-law, Robert and Vicki Grimes of Victoria, Texas; daughter and son-
in-law, Linda and Lowell Wise of San Antonio, Texas; son-in-law, Mike 
Blackwell of Spring, Texas; sister, Joyce Thames of Oak Grove; 13 
grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Pallbearers are: Richie Strong, Richard Strong, J. C. Strong, Jason Hurley, 
Denzil Sumrall, James Eubanks, and Douglas Strong.

Honorary Pallbearer is A. G. Crowe and Johnny Crosby.

Family will receive friends at Cox Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon and Monday.
