A.J. PEVYTOE, 85, BURIED AT REDWING

Last rites were conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Green Baptist
church for Allen J. Pevytoe, 85, of Fiske-Union, who expired Thrusday 
of last6 week at West Carroll Hospital.

The Rev. Frankie Jones, pastor, officiated at the rites and interment
was in the Redwing cemetery under direction of First National Funeral
Home.

Survivors include four sons, Rufus Pevytoe, of Oak Grove, Melvin
Pevytoe of Marlin, Ore., Herman Pevytoe of Monroe, and Frank Pevytoe 
of Pine Bluff, Ark.; two daughters, Mrs. Troy Elliott of Waldo, Ark.
and Mrs. Spencer Jenkins of Greenville, Miss.; three sisters, Mrs. 
Emily Greer and Mrs. Katherine Jenkins of Oak Grove and Mrs. Amanda 
Wicker of Whittier, Calif.; 28 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren
