Mrs. Ovie Pevytoe (died 19 May 1965)
 
Last rites will be observed today at 3 P.M.
this afternoon for Mrs. Ovie Pevytoe,67, of
Ritchie Community who expired at her home early 
Wednesday morning.
 
Services will be held from the Chapel at the Kidder-
Cox Funeral Home with the Rev. Alton Smith officiating,
interment will be in the Redwing Cemetery.
Mrs. Pevytoe had been a resident of the Parish for the past 
40 years.
 
She is survived by her husband, Rufus William Pevytoe, 
Route 4, Oak Grove, two sons, William Henry Pevytoe of 
Oak Grove, Albert Hemphill of Bastrop, three daughters,
Mrs. Harvy Richey and Mrs. Modean McGowan, both of Oak
Grove, and Mrs. Jessie Mae Madison of McComb, Miss, 24
grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and six sisters
Mrs. Myrtle Jones of Lake Providence, Mrs. Ruby Mercer,
Mrs. Jeanie McDaniels, Mrs. Allie Tillman all of McComb,
Miss.,Mrs. Lizzie S. Traylor of Brookhaven, Miss. and
Mrs. Daisy Wails of McKenny, Tex.
 
Pallbearers will be Harry Bonner, Francis Horton, R.R.
Thrush, Walter Sims, and Harold Dosher.
