RINEHART Born March 16, 1870 Died November 18, 1948 RUSTON - Mrs. C. P. "Lizzie" Rinehart, 79, of Ruston died at 1 a.m. Thursday, November 18, 1948 at the Ruston-Lincoln Sanitarium. She had been in ill health for the past year. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Douglas Methodist Church near Ruston with the Rev. Roy Grant, pastor, assisted by Rev. Guy Hicks of the Shreveport Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the Douglas Cemetery. A Resident of Ruston all her life, Mrs. Rinehart had been married 61 years. Besides her husband: Charlie Rinehart, she is survived by nine children: Julian Rinehart, Tom Rinehart, Mrs. Howard (Genie) Holstead, Mrs. Charlie (Kate) Hicks and Mrs. George (Liz) Shinpoch, all of Ruston; Sumpter Rinehart of Oak Grove, John Rinehart of Shreveport, Mrs. John (Eula) Holstead of Orange, Texas, and Mrs. Edna Jerkins of Memphis, Tennessee; one sister: Mrs. Jim (Winnie) Beckham of Ruston, thirty seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
