OAK GROVE - James S. "Sump" Rinehart, 88, died Tuesday, December 13, 1983 at
Carroll Nursing Home in Oak Grove after a short illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 15, 1983 at Cox Funeral Home
Chapel in Oak Grove with the Rev. Bill Robertson officiating. Burial will be in
the Oak Grove Cemetery

Survivors include two sons John Rinehart of Oak Grove; Robert Rinehart of
Ruston; two daughters Mrs. Jeanne Moulder of Jackson, Mississippi; and Mrs.
Midge Melton of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one brother Julian Rinehart of Ruston;
two sisters Mrs. Edna Jerkins of Memphis, Tennessee; and Mrs. Lizzie Mae
Shinpoch of Ruston; 21 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and one great great
grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Doyle Sanders, Larry Corley, Homer Smith, Billy Thornhill,
Calvin Allen and Malory Jones.
