EMRY M. SCHROCK 

Oak Grove, La., July 30. --- (Special) --- 

Emry M. Schrock, 67, of Gilbert died there Tuesday night.  The funeral 
will be held in the Gilbert Methodist Church Friday at 2 p.m. with Rev.
I. Patton, Jr., officiating.  Interment will be in the Gilbert cemetery
in charge of the Catron - Gay Funeral Home of Oak Grove.
 
He is survived by his wife; one son, George Schrock, Gilbert.; three 
daughters, Mrs. Edna Higginbotham, Mrs. Ula Pool, Gilbert; Mrs. Lillie 
Erskine, Fresno, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. A. M. Cook, Gilbert; and 11
grandchildren.

Note: Since the newpaper article does not reflect the year of death,
may I add from my grandfather Johns notes that Emery M. Schrock died 
July 28, 1953. Also written by my grandfather, in ink,  beside the
article is: "Kilbourne La. not Gilbert".  Maybe someone can tell me
where he is buried?  Is it Gilbert, Kilbourne or Oak Grove?  According
to the 1910 West Carroll Parish, LA census, Emery Shrock, age 25, born 
TX was living in Ward 4 along with his wife Elmer, age 22, born LA and
daughter Edna, age 2, born LA ......
