Southwesterly direction.   In West Feliciana Parish, Louisiana.

"Capt. Mulford entered the U. S. Army
under the adminstration of General
Washington, ans held a commission for
Many years in the First reg. Of U. S. Artillery.
He was alike distinguished for his correct military
Department and great private worth."
