James Brian "Jimmy" Kerr

A resident of Baton Rouge and a St. Francisville native, he died Friday, Sept. 
11, 2009, at the age of 33. He was employed by Orion Instruments in Baton 
Rouge. 

Visitation was Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Charlet Funeral Home Inc., Zachary, from 
5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Wednesday 
from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Jesse Means. 
Interment in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church Cemetery, St. 
Francisville. 

He is survived by his parents, William J.W. "Butch" Kerr and Rosalind Trahan 
Kerr; two brothers and their wives, Chris and Stephanie Kerr and Charles and 
Melanie Kerr, all of St. Francisville; niece, Jamie Kerr; nephew, Christian 
Kerr; and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Grace Kerr, and 
Curtis and Sue Trahan. 

Pallbearers will be Lin Kendrick, William Klein, Jason Lees, Chris Schulz, 
R.J. Boiteaux, Jerry Whitehouse, Vinnie Carbo and Dustin Young. 

He graduated from Wilkinson County Christian Academy and Southeastern 
Louisiana University where he was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity
