To her husband, Rudolph Teutsch, she wills all real estate, stocks, bonds and notes; her brother, E.H. Mayer, $5,000; to her sisters, Mmes. Meyer, $500, Adele Hiller, $1,000, Sophie Perlinski $500, Hattie Hartson $1,000; her niece, Florence Hartson $2,000; Lillian Hiller, $2,000; Corinne Hiller, her diamond rings; her nephew, Jacob Teutsch, $1,000, Touro Infirmary, New Orleans, $200; Temple Sinai, St. Francisville, $200; Julius Freyhan High School $250; Jewish congregation of Venningen, Germany $100. She names her husband her testamentary executor, with seizin and without bond. Additional Comments: Same issue and page ran article below: As will be seen in another place, the will of the late Mrs. Rudolf Teutsch bequeaths much to others besides her relatives, showing the good generous heart of this noble woman that could reach out in blessing to the sick and suffering, the widow and orphan, her home temple and the home school and even to the congregation in the far-off native home of her husband's people. Julius Freyhan High School is remembered with $250, and every child who attends the school should breathe a prayer for the benefactress of their school.
